Kwame Opoku believes Kotoko is the perfect place to progress his career and insists the club has a lot to achieve if players and coaches remain united.

The striker joined the club this January after a 3-week trial and is thrilled by the quality of the players and the friendship that exists between them and the coaches.

Kwame Opoku tells Kotoko Express App the platform is the best to propel his ambitions of pushing up both the club and his career.

“Teamwork is key if a team can achieve its goals. There is unity in the team and the players are very good as well. This makes Kotoko the best place for me to improve my career. The club has a lot to achieve if we can remain united.”

“They all put up their best in training, and I will also kill myself, so I can also improve the team and my career.”

“I knew some of the Kotoko players even before I came here. I met a few of them at the national team camp, and they were very friendly and sociable.”

Those guys welcomed me very well. And those I did not know like (Emmanuel) Gyamfi and Felix (Annan) also showed me love, and I love them back as well.”

“The coaches are also very friendly. They correct us when necessary and also jog with us during training. The club has a lot to achieve if we will continue like that.”
